I have made another hyperlink for my website. This has allowed my audience to see what the current situation is for traveling. This is crucial for the public to know this information in case they are expecting visitors at Christmas time so it is good they know what is happening about the airlines.

This is my contact page continued. I have included Google maps for the current generation as I know this is very popular in this information technology age. I have supplied an address for my audience to contact the newspaper company. This gives my audience a sense of reliability and more trust in the company as they know if they had any problems we are here to help.

My task is to be able to hyperlink buttons on my website to take my audience to another page that is stated by the button. I have made a button called 'Contact us'. I have chose to this this because in all my research it was on every site that I visited. This shows that it is a important element within a website.

There are many buttons that I have created however only two of the buttons will actually work when clicked on as this was the task that I was given. They need to be hyperlinked so it will navigate to where the audience want to go.

This is what my website home page looks like so far. The button in the top left hand corner works when it is clicked on. It will then take you to this page which i have created. I wanted to home page to keep my theme from my newspaper which was the weather. I don't want to bore my audience by constantly talking about the weather so I have made this my main story but I am going to put smaller stories on another hyperlink button such as news.This newspaper is being produced for the 6th December. This website will be updated everyday in order for my audience to keep vising my website with regular publications or in my websites case: posts.  I have made the headline as Bold as possible. By putting the word 'ARE' in the headline I feel that it will alert my audience more as they will feel it is actually happening and will want to read on as it may be affecting them. 

Creating hyperlinks

My aim for this task is to create a two hyper-linked website, in order for me to do this I need to create typical online news links across the page. In my research I have shown what hyperlink buttons are usually on the page. From this information I have gathered I am now able to create the buttons for my website. Only two of these need to be hyper-linked, in which case I will only need to pick only two out of the many to focus on. When the buttons are clicked on, it will then take the viewer to the page that it is stated. I will have a main home page that will headline my main theme I have chosen for my newspaper task so it connects well with the newspaper headline as it will be current, local and fresh news. It is important I am constantly going back to my newspaper task, looking over what colour format and style I have used and also to use similar conventions in order for them to both be familiarized to the same newspaper company.
